SCOTT A. FOSTER, MBA
Co-Founder and Managing Broker
With over 30 years of lending experience, deal structuring, and financial analysis for business acquisitions and commercial real estate acquisitions, Scott has successfully assisted thousands of sellers and buyers across all 50 states. Having successfully managed over $1 billion in buy/sell projects, Scott's experience and skill set has helped each seller sell their business and achieve their financial dream and helped buyers purchase a successful business. Scott is passionate about each client's business and real estate project and looks forward to helping each entrepreneur with the most critical details to ensure a successful result.
Scott co-founded A Better Broker as his clients continually shared over the years that they lacked access to quality information and desired a higher level of service than what they were receiving from the brokers they worked with. To address this, A Better Broker was designed to elevate the quality of information and the level of service that entrepreneurs need to be successful by leveraging Scott and Meredith's experience in deal making, detailed communication, and driving projects to a successful finish.
Scott and his wife, Jenny, have been happily married for 28 years and have two college-aged children. As a family, they enjoy pickleball, hiking, and traveling with memorable trips to Iceland, New Zealand, Australia, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Scotland, Estonia, England, and Ireland.

MEREDITH MARDER, ESQ.
CO-FOUNDER AND BROKER
Over the past 16 years as a business attorney, Meredith has represented hundreds of business owners with everything from starting a business to cashing out for millions, and lots of leases, contracts, and other milestones in between. She's helped her legal clients close hundreds of millions in business sales and acquisitions, and she's passionate about helping business owners get top dollar for their hard-earned equity.
Noticing a lack of experienced brokers to help her clients sell their businesses, she co-founded A Better Broker to ensure every business owner has access to top-notch brokerage services when they’re ready to buy or sell a business, sell their property, or lease their next location. In addition to her Broker role, Meredith and her team continue to provide legal services through her law firm, A Better Business: A Law Firm for Entrepreneurs.
When Meredith is not working, you might find her sailing down the Nile in Egypt, at a Palace in Switzerland, or roadtripping around North America in her Airstream (with her dogs!). When she's not out adventuring, she's usually enjoying sunset from her home in Tucson, Arizona.
